Primus now offers Mailman to help manage electronic mail discussion lists, Mailman gives each mailing list a unique web page and allows users to subscribe, unsubscribe, and change their account options over the web. Even the list manager can administer his or her list entirely via the web. Mailman has most of the features that people want in a mailing list management system, including built-in archiving, mail-to-news gateways, spam filters, bounce detection, digest delivery, and so on. At the same time users have access to e-mail commands much like Majordomo or Smartmail.
Features
The following features are included as standard with all of Primus's mailing list packages:- Web based list administration for nearly all tasks, including list configuration, moderation (post approvals), management of user accounts.
- Web based subscribing and unsubscribing, and user configuration management. Users can temporarily disable their accounts, select digest modes, hide their email addresses from other members, etc.
- A customizable home page for each mailing list.
- Per-list privacy features, such as closed-subscriptions, private archives, private membership rosters, etc.
- Configurable (per-list and per-user) delivery mode

- Full support for HTML mail.

Package Structure
Primus' mailing list service is packaged based on the following two variables:- The number of mailing lists required
- The number of members. All of your mailing lists share a single, common member database. Depending on how you configure your lists, the subscribers to your lists can be members of one or more of your lists.

1 A one-time setup fee of $200 is billed per package. This fee covers the setup of your "partition" and training for your list administrator.
2 Throughput is defined as the total number of bytes of data (email messages) delivered from the server hosting your mailing lists to your subscribers. Each additional gigabyte of throughput consumed by your list(s) during the month is billed at $25.
